OMG, I’m feeling aweful today *lol* I’m definitely not 20 any more…… The evening with my workmates was great, lots of delicious food and a few cocktails afterwards… But I could have gone without the rest of the night… Let’s just say, I had to clean away puke 3 a.m. in the morning…and it was neither mine, nor the cats’ for a change….
Anyway, let’s change to a far nicer topic: scrapbooking! :D Today I want to show you a layout I did for the current Mood Board Challenge of the Jot Magazine – bright pinks and gold <3
It’s another layout about our wedding last year. I really wanted to scrap a picture of us cutting the cake, but I don’t really have a decent one…all turned out pretty dark and grainy due to our dinner location being vaults.. So I took the nicest picture I had and just edited it a bit in photoshop to make it look a bit more vintage, so the grain isn’t as disturbing as it used to be before..
Used some golden acrylic paint I had, golden sequins (again!!), printouts and other bits and pieces that fitted the theme and colour scheme… I also used some “Color Magic” letters sprayed with mist, but I didn’t like the look of it really, so I added golden liquid pearls to it, so it’s standing out a bit more – love that actually!!
Embracing this perfectly imperfect picture with this alyout ;) Love that the beige/golden pieces of my dress coordinate so well with the gold of the page :D
So, hope you’re enjoying a nice Saturday so far! I’ll try to find something to eat now and maybe do a little scrapping later (as I’m not feeling really well *lol*)..
